Fees

NJ Medivisits™ charges a flat fee of $250 for a basic medical house call visit. This fee may be slightly higher if a higher level of care is needed to diagnose and treat multiple medical problems. We accept full payment at the time of service in the form of cash, personal check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).

Our fee includes a personalized 30-45 minute visit to discuss, diagnose, and treat your condition. Please note that our fees do not include any outside lab tests or x-rays; these will be billed directly by the lab or facility performing the service, we ask that you inquire with your insurance company regarding reimbursement for these services.

Insurance Companies

We do not directly accept health insurance plans (HMOs, Health Insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid), but we will provide you with documentation for your medical house call which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement purposes. We advise that you check with your individual health insurance provider to see what percentage of our fees are covered. Each individual insurance company differs from one another. Typically insurance companies cover anywhere between 50-80% of the amount that is charged. This is usually covered through an “out of network” option for PPO or HMO plans after you have met your deductible.
